Bio.

Born in Boston, moved to Staten Island, NY, then to Brooklyn, NY, then to London, England, then -after we were bombed out during the blitz- moved on to Wateringbury, then to Maidstone, then to Rochester, Kent, where we lived until the end of the war. In 1948 we returned to America, settling in Da Bronx, NY.

At the age of 17 I dropped out of highschool (my Junior year) and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in which I served for more than 21 years. I travelled far and wide... only to return to Da Bronx, NY again when my military career ended. Once resettled at home I attended Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY) where I earned a Bachelor of Science/Accounting degree,

Places I've been (to name just a few): USA: New York, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Texas. I've travelled this country by bus, train, plane, car and hitch-hiking, north to south on the east coast, and from the west coast to the east coast and back.

Overseas: England, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Viet Nam, Uruguay (S.A.)... (with several visits to awesome Rio de Janiero for good measure!)

After college I worked in the private sector as a staff accountant for several years, then became a Federal agent (U.S. Treasury) where I served for 19 years. Now fully retired, I'm living in Florida where I enjoy a sedentary life-style filled with sun, sand and several favorite... um... public houses (all of good repute, thank you!)

My Family

My immediate family was created by the union of THOMAS (paternal side, via Wales, Liverpool and Cheshire, England) and CUSACK (maternal side, from County Wexford, Ireland.) They met here in America, and I (their first child) was born in Boston. Genealogy of the THOMAS/CUSACK clan is found on the Family Tree pages.
