1. ROBERT1 ROBERTS was born Abt.
1815. (This is all the information I have on this man at this
time.)
Child of
Robert Roberts (and
unknown wife) is:
- THOMAS ROBERTS, b. March 23, 1837, (possibly in Childwall,
Lancashire); d. July 13, 1880, Ffynnongroyw, Llanasa,
Holywell, Whitford, Flint, Wales.

THOMAS ROBERTS married MARY ANN WALKER July 01, 1878 in St.
Lukes, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. According to information
found in the 1881 Census, this was a second marriage for both
of them (I have no information about his first marriage).
Thomas died July 13, 1880, just seven months short of the birth
of his daughter Sarah Emily Roberts (see below). He was just 43
when he died "Of a visitation of God" according to
his death certificate.
MARY ANN WALKER was nee JONES,
daughter of THOMAS JONES, and she was born Abt. 1846 in Flint,
Wales. (I have no other information on the JONES family at this
time.) Mary Ann's marriage to Mr. WALKER is also a mystery,
except we know Mr. Walker died leaving Mary Ann with a daughter
Elizabeth, b. circa 1867.
The following information has been found in the 1881 Census:
LDS CDs re 1881 British Census... places Mary A. ROBERTS,
Widow, with her daughter from a previous marriage Elizabeth A.
WALKER, age 14, and her 5 wks old daughter Sarah Emily ROBERTS
at: Railway Inn, Llanasa, Flint, Wales. (Why the Railway Inn?)
Child of THOMAS ROBERTS and MARY JONES-WALKER:
- SARAH EMILY3 ROBERTS, b. February 26, 1881,
Ffynnongroyw, Llanasa, Holywell, Whitford, Flint, Wales;
(this is my future grandmother).
On September 23, 1905, Sarah married PERCIVAL LLEWELLYN
THOMAS at Birkenhead, Chester. See the THOMAS

Like her father, SARAH also died young… on March 28,
1923, Wallasey, Cheshire, England, at the age of 42.
